This document was developed bу the Coalition to Stop Violence against Women in the scope of “Changing the Agenda оп Domestic Violence in Armenia” project. The document includes mapping of the recommendations Ьу the UN three bodies, namely:
1. Human Rights Council (2020) in the framework of the Universal Periodic Review
2. Human Rights Committee (2021) in the framework of the lnternational Covenant оп Civil and Political Rights
3. Committee оп the Elimination of AII Forms of Discrimination Against Women ( 2022) within the framework of the Convention оп the
Elimination of AII Forms of Discrimination Against Women, recommendations/concluding observations addressed to the State. The recommendations include the women’s rights and gender equality, which is divided into separate sub-groups. Within each topic, the recommendations in English, the non-official translation, intersectionality, the уеаг of proposal and, if availaЫe, the country that made the recommendation is indicated.
ln the scope the recommendations of the Committee оп the Elimination of AII Forms of Discrimination against Women, there is also а note оп the specific recommendations bе reported Ьу the country as an urgent matter is indicated. The purpose of this mapping is to support organizations that advocate with the state to promote women’s rights in Armenia. lt will help identify the oЫigations that the state has regarding women’s rights.
