From 10 to 12 July, 2017 the representatives of the Coalition to Stop violence against women Mariam Kurshudyan, Tatevik Aghabekyan and Eduard Martirosyan participated in the workshop for trial observation specialists organized by the Human Rights House Tbilisi. The workshop was organized in the frames of «Ensuring better protection of Human Rights Defenders» project. During three days Armenian and Georgian Human Rights defenders, the trainers Sergey Burov from the Educational Human Rights House Chernihiv, Pavlo Parkhomenko from the Bakhmachsky Municipality Court of the Chernogorsk Region and Dmitry Chernih from the Belarusian Helsinki committee presented main aspects, aims and principles of trial observation. The representative of Human Right House’s foundation Ketevan Abashidze presented the precedents of the European Human Rights Court according to the Article 6 of the European Convention on Human Rights.

The workshop was organized and implemented by Human Rights House Tbilisi cooperating with the Educational Human Rights House Chernihiv, Human Rights House Belarus and Human Rights House Yerevan. The event was supported by the Human Rights House foundation, as a part of the project «From house to house» which enables the members of its organizations to implement joint programmes and share their experience and skills.
